If you are looking for a vet clinic or a place to take your animals I recommend Southern Oaks Animal Hospital. I am a first time pet owner and was very nervous about where to go and what needed to be done. As soon as I walked into the door I was greeted and educated on the wellness of my baby. The staff was very informative and helpful with all my questions. I will be using Southern Oaks as my vet. Thank you for all you do!
I would have given five stars, however, I am furious with them! A couple months ago I took my dog there and purchased some heart worm medicine. At that time, I was told that if you bought six, you got one free. They didn’t have one at the time but told me she would note it in my file and call me when their shipment came in. A few weeks later I got a call from them telling me it was in and I could come by anytime to pick it up, as it’s in the notes so anyone can help me. I couldn’t get there at that time because I was packing and moving to SC so the other day my husband went there to pick it up. They had no idea what he was talking about, said that was never a “special” and so he left without one. Lesson learned I guess. Make everyone write everything out and give it to me. Clearly they just didn’t want to give him one or maybe they don’t have any....I don’t know for sure but I WATCHED HER TYPE IT INTO THE COMPUTER, they called me and now they have no idea what I’m talking about. That’s bad business.
Southern Oaks is a great place to take your pet to. I have taking my pet there for a few years now and the staff is always so kind and caring of my fur babies. The prices are great! I would refer anyone to this Animal Hospital.
Amazing place and wonderful staff. I have been here with all my animals and would never go anywhere else. My most recent experience with them was when my cat was sick and I found out that he had an incurable disease. I was forced to let him go to avoid him being in pain. The staff was so sensitive to my situation and very accommodating while I spent the last moments with him. About a week later I received a card from them with notes of care from a bunch of the staff. I was blown away with their amount of compassion. Trust me this is the place to take your little family members.
